Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that literally translates as "wisdom of life".
It is ancient and timeless, as its healing principles comes from the wise seers and sages of the Vedic culture from India.
Ayurveda is an alive dynamic holistic healing system. It is about living our life in balance with our original nature as well as the natural and cosmological cycles. It considers the individual unique nature, the season, the geography, the lifestyle, BodyMindSoul interconnections and so on. It incorporates simple daily routines, massages, diet and herbal therapy to bring the body back into balance.
Each person has a specific Ayurvedic constitution, and moving away from that constitution creates health imbalances. If the imbalances are not addressed, Ayurveda says that illness may develop. So, the early signs of imbalance serve as a wakeup call to make gentle and natural shifts in behavior to return to balance—such as adjusting diet and daily activities, taking herbal remedies and the practice of stillness.
Ayurveda support us to connect with our innate well-being wisdom.
